Katie Plewenski
Katie began her swimming career at age 7 with the Hatfield Swim Team.  She went on to swim for North Penn Aquatic Club and North Penn High School until graduation in 2001.  Katie also played water polo for four years, including a state championship, and was a two time All- State player.  Katie went on to college at West Chester University, playing lacrosse and water polo, receiving numerous accolades.  She has coached numerous other swim teams which include: North Penn Aquatic Club’s summer program for 2 summers; ACAC, a USS team in West Chester for 2 years; North Hills summer swim team for 1 summer.  For the past five years, she has been the girl’s assistant water polo coach for North Penn High School.  Katie is entering her first year as an assistant coach for NPAC.

 

Cheryl Else

My diving career began at the "old" Nor Gwyn Pool when I was nine years old.  I continued diving with Nor Gwyn, North Penn, Gwynedd Mercy and West Chester University.  I have been coaching for over 20 years at Nor Gwyn, North Penn and for a short time at Harleysville.

Kyle Kushner

My name is Kyle Kushner.  This is my 3rd year as an assistant diving coach with NPAC.  I was a Hatfield shark ever summer from the age of 6 to 18.  I have also been a diver there from 13 to 18. I also swam and dove for NPAC from the age of 13 to 18.  My freshman to senior year of high school at NP I played water polo and we won states my Sr. year.  In my freshman and sophomore year I swam for the high school.  During my Jr. and Sr. year I dove for NP.
 

Jack Else, Sr.
Jack grew up in Warminster and started swimming with Hideaway Swim Club in Horsham from 1972 to 1981.  During that time Jack also swam for Centennial Aquatic Club, Hatboro YMCA and Archbishop Wood High School.  He continued his swimming career at Drexel University swimming his Freshman and part of his Sophomore year before a back injury forced him to retire from swimming.  During his college years he became interested in coaching as an assistant swim coach at Huntingdon Valley Country Club for 3 seasons.  After college Mr. Else could not stay away from swimming, he became Abington Aquatic Club's head coach from 1987 to 1990.  Coach Else has 3 swimmers on the current NPAC team, Jack Jr., Brooke and Brett.  Jack's wife Cheryl is one of the assistant diving coaches.  Mr. Else is in his fourth year as assistant coach at NPAC.
 

Ellen Vondercrone
Ellen began her swimming career with both North Penn Aquatic Club and Hatfield Swim Team at the age of seven. She remained a dedicated member of both teams until graduating from Lansdale Catholic High School. Ellen returned to the sport 8 years ago as an assistant coach for the Hatfield Sharks Swim Team and joined North Penn Aquatic Club as an assistant coach the following winter. Ellen is entering her 9th year as an assistant coach with NPAC.

Alicia Reynolds

Alicia started swimming for her community team in Kentucky and continued her focus for 9 years. She went on to swim for Caritas Swim Team, a USA swim team based in Kentucky, for 6 years. She was a member of the Southern Zone Team in Kentucky for 2 years. She was a 4 year swimmer and graduate of Eastern High School. She went on to swim for Transylvania University, a Division 3 Collegiate Institution, for 2 1/2 years and competed at NAIA National Championships as a freshman. Alicia joined NPAC last year as an assistant coach.

Katie Thompson

Katie began swimming at age 10 with the Lansdale Swim Team. She went on to swim for the North Penn YMCA for a year before joining North Penn Aquatic Club. Katie continued swimming with NPAC all through high school. Katie graduated from North Penn in 1998 upon which time she went on to swim for Dickinson College for 4 years before graduating in 2002. After college, Katie coached CBAC for one year before joining NPAC. Katie has been a part of the Pre-Competitive program as well as teaching swimming lessons for the past 3 years with the North Penn Community Aquatics Program. Katie is entering her first year as an assistant coach for NPAC.

Geoff Wilson

Geoff is an Aquarius. He started his swimming career at Methacton Swim Club and Nor-Gwyn Swim Team at age 8 and continued through both programs until finishing high school. Geoff graduated from Germantown Academy where he was a five year letter winner and team captain in both swimming and water polo. Throughout his high school swimming career, Geoff was a 10-time High School All-American and Junior National qualifier in 7 events from sophomore to senior year. He was the Mid Atlantic USS Elite Meet high point winner, 1993-1994 Zone Selection for 200 Meter IM, as well as appearing on the USS National Age Group Top-16 over the course of 3 years. Geoff went on to swim at LaSalle University before transferring to Penn State University where he played club water polo. He graduated with a dual degree in English and Broadcasting / Film. After college, he joined Germantown Academy as the high school water polo head coach from 1998-2000. Geoff joined North Penn Aquatic Club in 2004 and is entering his 3rd year as the boys head coach.

Bill Moser

Coach Moser has been a presence in swimming for 3 decades. He started as a swimmer for North Penn Aquatic Club and Towamencin Swim Team from 1967-1975 where he held many team and league records. He graduated from North penn High School and went on to swim for the University of Pittsburgh in the Big East Conference. At the University of Pittsburgh he was a Big East Championship Qualifier, a Big-East Finalist, and part of the All-Big East Team for 2 years. He was also a part of the USS Team Pitt Aquatic Club from 1975-1979. Mr. Moser has produced many NPAC championship teams and athletes as his years as both girls and boys head coach from 1984-1992. Some of his other credentials include: Lansdale Swim Team Head Coach, Chartiers Valley Aquatic Club, Keystone Oaks High School, South Park High School, South Park Aquatic Club, and Allegheny Mountain USS Summer Zone Championships head coach. In 1994, he was inducted into the SAL Hall of Fame. Coach Moser currently acts as an assistant coach for North Penn Aquatic Club.

Sue McDonald

Sue has been the diving coach at NP High School for the past 9 years. She's had State Qualifiers for 8 out of the 9 years with the highest being a 2nd place finisher in 2003-04. Sue has coached a summer program through the Aquatic Club for the last 8 years as well as coached at Towamencin Swim Team for the last 5 years. Sue has taken divers from many local teams to represent our area in the Keystone Games. Sue is also an avid season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoys traveling to away games in the Fall before high school starts. She also enjoys going to Sixers games, concerts with her daughter, and spending time with her kids.

Matt Krystopa

Matt started off as a very slow NPAC swimmer from 1982 - 1994 and participated in Junior Olympics. He then moved on to North Penn High School varsity swimming program from 1989 - 1992 where he was a 5 time high school swimming All-American and helped the team capture three consecutive Pennsylvania state titles 90, 91 & 92. He was a state finalist in 100 & 200 free, 200 free relay & 400 freestyle relays 1989-1992. Matt was also part of the North Penn Varsity Water Polo team. The team placed 2nd at states 1992 and Matt earned 2nd team All State honors.Matt went on to College at LaSalle University where he was a 4 year scholarship athlete. He helped lead team to 2nd place at Atlantic 10 Championships 1995 & 1996 and most the most Improved swimmer in1996.  Matt has been coaching NPAC for 9 years and has been head coach for 3 years.
