Co-captain of the North Penn High School swim team in the 1988-89 season.

Won Most Improved Swimmer over a Career Award.

B.A. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Major in Environmental Health; Minor in Safety Science.

Six years of coaching with Selma Robinson at the Manufacturers Golf and Country Club in Oreland, PA (89-94). One season assistant coaching at North Penn Summer Aquatic Club.

North Penn High School assistant swim coach from 1996-2000. During his term the team won one second and four first places at the Pennsylvania State Championships.

Took over reigns as head coach for both Swimming and Water Polo in 2000 leading the Knights to two second place finishes in both Water Polo and Swimming, and a State Swimming Championship in 2003.  The Knights placed 3rd in the 2003 Water Polo State Tournament, State Champs in 2004 and runner up in 2005.

Named 2001 & 2002 State Water Polo Coach of The Year

Resigned as Boys Swimming Coach Summer 2005.

Member of the 1975-76 North Penn High School state champion swim team.

Two-time individual (100 free and 200 IM) and three-time relay state champion.

B.S. in Health and Physical Education from the University of Maryland.

Reading High School swimming and water polo head coach for nine seasons. Under his direction the girls won state championship in 1989. Coached numerous All-American girls and boys, among them five state champions.

Recipient of the 1994, 1996, 2003 Pennsylvania Water Polo Coach of the Year Award.

North Penn head coach since 1994. Lead boys' team to 2nd place finish in 1996, and twice, in 1997 and 1998, won the Pennsylvania State Championship.

Under his direction both the boys and girls North Penn High School water polo team won Pennsylvania State Championship in 1996 and 1998 respectively. In addition to that the boys team was runner up in 1995 and 1998, and third in 1997. The girls team won second place in 1996 and 1997.

Returned to Coaching Women's Water Polo 2003 leading the Maidens to a tie for the Southern Division and a 3rd place finish at States.

Married to JP McDonald, 1986. Children: Meagan, 21, and Sean, 17

Tri-County Champion (1969-75); 2nd place finisher at YMCA State Chamionship (1972); third place, 1973. National YMCA qualifier from 1972 to 1976.

Secretary/President Lee's Hill Swim Team, Fredericksburg, VA (1995-1997)

Since coaching at North Penn, has had a diver or divers qualify for the state meet in all but one year.  In 2007-08, she took an unprecedented 5 divers to the State meet.  She has had two divers place 2nd in the State, many in the top 8, and almost all state qualifiers earning points for the team.

B.A. in Secondary Education with Athletic Coaching certification.

Joined North Penn as the girls' head coach in 1995. Currently teaching 11th and 12th grade English.

Won state championship with the North Penn girls water polo team in 1998, and second places in 1996 and 1997.
